Sitting either test too early is just a waste of time and money. Remember you will also have to pay for the two hour lesson required for the practical test, so all in the cost to sit it is around £112 - not something you want to have to do twice! Your (or your parents’) hardearned money would pay for nearly 5 more hours of tuition!

Please note that there are a number of websites that will book the tests for you but will charge you a sometimes hefty fee for this service. There is absolutely no need whatsoever to use such booking services – use the booking details above. DO NOT BE FOOLED INTO PAYING MORE THAN £23 / £62!

When booking the Practical Test, please quote Graham May’s ADI number of 281333 (this prevents the double booking of my car on any given test time/date). If you do not book your practical test quoting this number, or do not have prior agreement that you are ready for the test, then we cannot guarantee that you will be able to use the school’s car for the test you have booked.

Tests can be rescheduled or cancelled by phone or online by giving 3 clear working days’ notice. If you are ill on the day of the test, you may be able to claim a refund if you have supporting medical evidence (a doctor’s certificate will almost certainly be required)
